Cancellation and payment policy
Effective date: April 14, 2025
1. Booking and Payment Terms
1.1 Class Packages
All class packages must be used within 2 months from the date of purchase.
Unused classes after this period will expire without refund.
Class packages are non-transferable to other students.
1.2 Payment
All classes must be paid for in advance.
Payment confirms your booking and reserves your slot in the schedule.
2. Cancellation Policy
2.1 Student Cancellations
Cancellations made with more than 24 hours' notice will receive a full credit to reschedule the class within your package validity period.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will result in forfeiture of the class fee.
No-shows (failure to attend without notice) will result in forfeiture of the class fee.
2.2 Exceptional Circumstances
In case of genuine emergencies or illness, cancellation fees may be waived at the tutor's discretion. Supporting documentation may be requested.
Technical issues on the student's end are not considered valid reasons for last-minute cancellations.
2.3 Instructor Cancellations
If the instructor needs to cancel a class, students will receive a minimum of 24 hours' notice where possible.
For instructor cancellations, students will be offered either a full refund for that class or the option to reschedule.
In the event of technical issues on the instructor's end, the class will be rescheduled at no additional cost.
3. Rescheduling
Rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled class.
Rescheduled classes are subject to availability.
Classes can only be rescheduled within the 6-month validity period of the package.
4. Refunds
Refunds will only be issued in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
If services cannot be delivered as described, a full or partial refund may be issued.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to yourknowledgesession@gmail.com.
Refunds will be processed within 10 business days.
5. Class Packages and Expiry
Class packages expire 2 months from the date of purchase.
It is the student's responsibility to use their classes within this timeframe.
Reminder notifications may be sent, but it remains the student's responsibility to track their usage.
6. Compliance
This policy complies with the Australian Consumer Law and Fair Trading Act 2012 (Vic). Any disputes will be handled in accordance with Victorian consumer protection regulations.
7. Policy Changes
We reserve the right to modify this policy with appropriate notice to students. Changes will not affect already purchased packages.
